My name is Stefanie. I was born and raised in the Quad Cities. I used to enjoy watching my mom bake and cook in the kitchen, always helping her however I could. Later, I realized my passion for baking and pursued jobs in which I could learn. Ganson’s, where I bake today, has taught me the most. I have worked here for nearly five years and we have always cooked and baked with fresh ingredients. The baking we do would be like watching your mom or grandma in their kitchen, homemade and fresh. I am proud to be the baker here at Ganson’s and hope we can continue to bake for your enjoyment.

My goal is to give you quality, excellent tasting gluten free products which makes you say, “WOW, that doesn’t taste like gluten free.
Hello, my name is Chris Thompson. I’m the owner of Ganson’s Neighborhood Bakery & Café in Rock Island, and Ganson’s Inc. Gluten Free manufacturing located in Milan. Growing up in the South side of Chicago transformed the way I think about food, the way I cook with enthusiasm, and getting others to experience a wide range of cuisines. I appreciate a good homemade meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy or something you can’t pronounce, it just has to be good. This is what Ganson’s is all about. We provide our customers with the best quality ingredients in our homemade meals, pastries, and desserts. Thank you for letting us treat you as part of our Ganson’s family!

My Passion for food started at an early age, helping cook for my large family of thirteen siblings. I have a B.S. in recreation and adaptive physical education. I worked my way through college in restaurants , fell in love with it, and this is where I stayed.
I joined the Ganson’s family in 2010, where I get to have fun and create new experiences every day.
